yesterday was a long time ago...
Crispy Chicken
Ingredients :
1 chicken
2 tbsps maltose
2 tbsps black vinegar
1/2 rice bowl hot water
To marinate :
3 tsps salt
1/2 tsp 5-spices powder
Salty soup :
10 rice bowls water
2 star anise
1 cinamon
5 slices licorice
1 tbsps salt
Method :
1. Clean the chicken and marinade for 1 hour.
2. Boil the chicken into salty soup under low heat for 20 mins, remove and drain well .
3. Mix the maltose, black vinegar and 1/2 rice bowl of hot water, then pour the mixture on the chicken evenly for several times, Hand the chicken till dry .
4. Heat wok with some oil, deep fry chicken into hot oil till golden brown, remove and drain well, cut into pieces and rrange on serving plate and serve it hot .
