Steamed Radish Cake
Ingredients :
1kg radish
3 stalks spring
600g rice flour
100g dried shrimps
100g potato starch
4 chinese sausage
100 corn flour
10 shallots
5 garlic
Seasoning 1 :
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsps sugar
2 tsps M.S.G.
4 rice bowls water
Seasoning 2 :
1/2 tbsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp 5-spice powder
1 tbsp sesame oil
5 rice bowls water
Method :
1. Mix rice flour, cornflour, potato starch with seasoning 1 & stand for 3 hours .
2. Cut the radish into strips and sausages into cubes form .
3. Heat wok with some oil , fragrant the shallots, sausage & dried shrimps, and drain well .
4. Fragrant the chopped garlic, add in sausage, dried shrimps, radish, carrot & seasoning 2 and boil for a while, pour in the flour mixture till thicken, then pour in the tray and steam for 1 hour till well cooked .
